TREORCHY MALE VOICE CHOIR

Wooden Spoon Society presents The Treorchy Male Choir.

Wales enjoys a universal image as the Land of Song and nowhere has this been better represented than in the Rhondda Valley where more than 125 years ago the world-famous Treorchy Male Choir was formed.

Following its inauspicious beginnings in a valley pub in 1883 the Choir developed into a national eisteddfod winner, culminating in a Royal Command Performance for Queen Victoria at Windsor Castle. The present Treorchy Male Choir was reformed on October 16, 1946.

Wooden Spoon are delighted to welcome them back to The Theatre, Leatherhead to help raise funds for disadvantaged children. All proceeds raised on the evening will be spent on projects in the Surrey Region. Please refer to the Charities website for further information.

A transaction fee of £1 per ticket ( maximum £7 ) will be added to the cost of all tickets purchased online. 50p per ticket will be passed to the theatre Restoration Fund, to assist in the cost of ongoing maintenance of our Grade II listed building.
